Amazingly crispy batter

Try this easy batter recipe, for perfectly crispy batter. Try it you will be surprised at just what a difference adding DYC white vinegar makes. Perfect for fish or vegetables. If you prefer your fish or vegetables with a thick coating of batter, add less water to make a thicker batter or part cook the batter coated fish or vegetables then dip in batter again and continue cooking.  

½ cup flour
¼ cup cornflour
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon DYC White Vinegar
About 100ml cold water

Mix the flour, cornflour and baking powder together.

Add the vinegar and slowly whisk in enough water to make a thick, smooth batter. Use to coat fish or vegetables. Makes about 1 cup of batter or enough to coat 4 medium fish fillets.
