How to make coloured Easter Eggs
Looking for a fun idea for an Easter breakfast? Try decorating your own hard boiled eggs this year. Adding vinegar to the water ensures that the food colour sticks to the egg shell and provides a nice deep colour. Not only do they look great, but you can eat them too!
For extra patterns try using stickers, rubber bands or marker pens and dipping in multiple colours.
For each colour you will need
1 tablespoon DYC White Vinegar
1 teaspoon food colouring
½ cup water
Hardboiled eggs - (Tip: Add 1 tablespoon DYC white vinegar to boiling water to prevent cracking)
For Mottled/Marbled Eggs
1 tablespoon cooking oil
